The COMBO is a power sled. Built to train big, powerful men. Pads on both sides: high on one side, low on the other. Because it’s stationary, the force of a blow is deflected in the movement of the pad instead of the movement of the sled. The force generated by the recoil of the pad is similar to the sustained thrust of a blocker’s charge. Every muscle in your body must work to fight the pressure. Flexing the pad back and forth is similar to a bench press and will build upper body strength. Working against this sled helps develop more hitting force, better balance and footwork. On the tall side, work on basic blow delivery. On the short side, practice goal line charge and low block protection.
