No, all prices are FOB Gilman, CT. To get a freight quote, either call toll free 800-243-0398 or send a request for quote to sales@gilmangear.com.  Please submit a list of products you want to purchase along with a complete address and destination zip code. Also indicate if the destination is a school (commercial) or home (residential) address. Please note that an additional fee applies to residential truck shipments.

Yes, we accept school purchase orders, however a hard copy needs to be mailed, faxed or emailed in.  If purchase orders are not used by the school system, a purchase order agreement can be prepared by the company for signature.

Yes, request a credit card authorization form and one will be emailed to you.

Yes, schools can place an order and request a July 1st or September 1st billing. The order must be confirmed with a purchase order number or a signed purchase agreement. An invoice will be emailed immediately after the order is shipped with a due and payable date of July 1st or September 1st.

The invoice contains a ship via section that includes how it was shipped i.e. ups or truck shipment and the tracking number for that shipment.  All freight carriers have online tracking services which can be accessed online.  Just type in the tracking number to find out current status.

All Gilman products are stocked in pre-determined colors. The Gilman catalog and shopping cart include a color chart of what color the product is available in. If a custom color is requested, a surcharge for that color will apply.

No, due to shipping constraints most Gilman products are shipped dis-assembled and require assembly on site.  Assembly instructions are included in the hardware package shipped with the product.  Assembly instructions can also be accessed and downloaded from the Gilman website.

If a product is delivered damaged, please note the damage on the delivery receipt.  If it is severely damaged, please refuse the package.  Please document the damage by taking pictures and emailing them to the company.  A damage claim must be filed within 7 days of delivery!  It is extremely important to unwrap the package and inspect for concealed damage as soon as the package arrives.  Damage reports after the 7- day window are subject to rejection by the freight company.

Call the toll free 800-243-0398 and ask the customer service to request a dock search if the order was shipped by truck or ups.  It is extremely important to report missing packages as soon as you are aware of a missing package.

A product can be returned within 30 days of delivery. Before a product can be returned, a return authorization number must be obtained by call the toll free 800-243-0398 and speaking to customer service.  All returns are subject to a 15% re-stocking charge. The customer is responsible for freight on non-warranty returned products.

Call toll free 800-243-0398 and ask for customer service. Have the invoice number and date the product was purchased.  Please send pictures of the product that is the subject of the warranty.  Customer service will determine whether the product qualifies under company warranty. If the product qualifies under warranty, the company will determine whether replacement or repair is the best route.  A return authorization number will be issued for products to be returned.
